Berlin: Syrian refugee arrested on suspicion of terrorism
The migrant is said to have fought against Russian troops in Syria for several months as a youth in the summer of 2013. He is said to have been armed with a Kalashnikov type assault rifle and also fired with it. The young man was assigned to a refugee shelter in northwest Brandenburg. But he lives in Berlin and regularly collects money from the job center there. The 21-year-old said during an appointment there that he wanted to travel back to Syria to fight for IS.
