Germany: Seehofer wants to push through deportations to Syria from January 1st
Berlin - "We have discussed with the President of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees that we will examine every single case carefully from January 1, 2021 and try to make a deportation possible. It there are cases in which this is conceivable," said Seehofer to Bild am Sonntag. "I also know that this is a difficult and long journey."
Seehofer said: "But if we don't do that, it means that you can do anything in Germany - from shoplifting to manslaughter. In any case, you never have to expect to be deported. Such a license is allowed not given to our constitutional state."
Seehofer added: "One thing must be very clear: Anyone who commits serious offenses or tramples our constitution must leave our country."
