Germany: TV station pays Antifa to produce more realistic content

Millions of people watch “Tatort”, but the NDR preferred to look the other way when it came to the production of the new Hamburg crime thriller with Wotan Wilke Möhring.

3,000 euros from GEZ (the television and radio fee) were paid to a left-wing scene-gathering frequented by extremists. The reason for such action: to make a realistic interpretation of Antifa.

Politicians and the police are outraged, but at the tv station nobody understands the uproar and the process is considered to be completely normal. The NDR is stubborn and shifts responsibility to an external service provider. A sign of poverty for the public service institution with its billions in budget.

It is not the first time that the North German Broadcasting Corporation has failed in its duty of supervision. Just a few weeks ago, the scandal surrounding the fake documentary “Lovemobil” hit the headlines. At that time, the NDR was clueless, but insightful. This time those responsible only react arrogantly.

NDR gives support to police haters in Hamburg, the city where excesses of violence at the G20 summit in 2017 shocked the whole world. Hundreds of police officers were attacked with stones and pavement slabs.
