Bachelet defends the socialist model and calls for the sanctions against Venezuela to be lifted

The former Chilean president has regretted that the economic and social programs implemented in recent years have failed to raise the level of income, which remains "dramatically low."

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, once again defends the leftist tyrannies of the world, and after accepting Venezuela in the Human Rights Commission of the international organization, has insisted that the "sectorial sanctions" Adopted against the criminals of Chavismo "have contributed to worsen the social and economic crisis."

Her statements are given while the farce of dialogue between the regime of Nicolás Maduro and the opposition unfolds, a process that has the endorsement of the former Chilean president of the Socialist Party.

"I am confident that the ongoing political dialogue in Mexico can lead to meaningful solutions and translate into greater progress for the protection of Human Rights," declared Bachelet, updating her report on the dictatorship in the South American country from Geneva.

Bachelet considers that the humanitarian and economic situation that Venezuela has been dragging on for years has been "aggravated both by the pandemic and by sector sanctions", and not by socialism.

"I reiterate my call for the sectoral sanctions to be lifted," she said, without asking for the country's economic or political system to be changed.

The socialist leader has accepted countries such as China, Bolivia, Cuba, Pakistan, Russia, Afghanistan, Qatar and Venezuela to the UN Human Rights Commission, all the countries where regimes have committed multiple and documented human rights violations of their own population.
