Germany: FDP expects electricity crisis in winter
Berlin - Dürr told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (NOZ): "We have to ensure that we don't get into a dramatic situation in the winter when it comes to energy. Because we not only have a gas crisis, but are also heading towards an electricity crisis." He spoke out in favor of deciding now to extend the lifetime of the nuclear power plants and to enable the operators to order new fuel rods.
"It can take a few months, and that's why we have to make a decision quickly," Dürr demanded.
