Survey: Every second person wants fewer refugees in Germany

Every second German citizen is of the opinion that Germany has so far taken in too many refugees.

Berlin - This is the result of a survey conducted by the opinion research institute INSA for Bild am Sonntag. According to this, 51 percent say that Germany has taken in too many refugees, 33 percent consider the number to be appropriate and 11 percent believe that Germany should take in more people. 6 percent didn't know or didn't answer the question. For the survey, the opinion research institute interviewed 1,003 people on February 3rd.

The question was: All in all: "In your opinion, has Germany taken in (rather) too few, (rather) too many or a reasonable number of refugees from other countries?"
