Germany: The tax money, the “genocide” and the large anti-Israel demonstration

Berlin - Numerous left-wing and migrant groups called for a large demonstration against the “genocide” that Israel is allegedly currently carrying out in the Gaza Strip. Among them was the feminist, left-wing radical organization “International Women* Space”, which is supported in various ways with taxpayer money.

Supporters on the website include the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb), led by the left-wing SPD politician Thomas Krüger, the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, which is close to the Left Party, and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation . “International Women* Space” received project-related 80,577.53 euros from bpb alone last year, as the Apollo News platform reports. The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is also financed almost exclusively from public money and thus supports the radical left-wing group.

Tax money: Hamas terrorists celebrated
On Saturday, more than 8,000 people demonstrated against Israel on Berlin's Alexanderplatz. The event was not banned. Its motto: “Free Palestine will not be cancelled”. The call for a demonstration signed by numerous left-wing extremist, anti-Semitic and migrant groups stated: “Stop the genocide in Gaza!” In view of the current “escalation of the decades-long Israeli occupation of Palestine (…) we must take to the streets for Palestine”.

According to Apollo News, the taxpayer-funded “International Women* Space” celebrated the Hamas terrorists as “resistance fighters.” The Federal Agency for Civic Education claims to have had no knowledge of the orientation of the group it supported, as it told the platform. In addition, “we generally do not give any subsequent assessments of cultural workers and/or authors or funded projects”.
