Spain: Postal service releases “Equality Stamps”, a collection of stamps against racial discrimination

Inside of the European Diversity Month and coinciding with the anniversary of George Floyd’s death, Correos, the country's postal service launches “Equality Stamps”, a new collection of stamps that aims to raise awareness about racial inequality and defend diversity, inclusion and equal rights.

“Equality Stamps”, which gives continuity to the project “Protest Stamps”, is made up of a series of stamps that will have a different value depending on the color of the skin they represent: the darker the stamp, the less value it will have, therefore, when making a shipment, it will be necessary to use more black stamps than white. In this way, each letter and each shipment will become a reflection of the inequality created by racism.

The “Equality Stamps” can be purchased at the Post Office Online Store.

An action with a voice and its own name
The initiative has had the participation of Domingo Antonio Edjang Moreno, better known by its stage name The chojin, a Spanish rapper and composer who has given voice to the campaign to try to raise awareness that the value of a person should not have color. El Chojin, a benchmark in racial activism in Spain, thus joins the cause of Correos.

This is not the first time that the Post Office became involved in the woke ideology. Last year they changed the color of their delivery vehicles to support the LGBT community.
