Another criminal with a mental illness: Abdulkader Al T. finally tried after spreading fear and terror on the streets of Berlin

For two and a half years, Abdulkader Al T. (28) spread fear and terror on the streets of Berlin. Now he is being tried.

He threatened a woman and her child on Hardenbergplatz (Charlottenburg). ("You whore... I am Allah... Next time you'll see what I'll do to you.")

He had a record of criminal acts:

• He broke a bottle in a bar on Alexanderplatz and stabbed the bartender with a broken glass.
• He threw a lit cigarette in the eye of a passer-by in Schöneberg. She suffered corneal burns.
• He sprayed a man in Friedrichshain's face with tear gas.
• He punched a Charité doctor...

The public prosecutor read out five charges (insult, threat, aggravated theft, attempted dangerous bodily harm) on Wednesday before the regional court.

At the end of the process he should finally be admitted to a clinic because of a mental illness.
