Instead of "he" or "she" only the first names should be used in the future, provided that this is desired by the person concerned. The students in the capital have until the summer holidays to submit their requests. Those who do not submit a corresponding application should continue to be addressed as "he" or "she".

Berlin official criticizes regulation
The administration manager of the Johanna Eck secondary school in the Tempelhof district, Axel Jürs, criticized the project. For students who do not clearly assign themselves to a gender, forms and certificates are not decisive.

Gender-neutral toilets are more important. For this he suggested individual cabins instead of two large rooms for boys and girls. To plan this, members of the "students_internal representation" had an appointment at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs at the end of February.
