German Man Thrown on Train Tracks by Syrian Migrants

According to the police, the case happened as follows: “Sunday evening, an ICE train at Jüterbog station (Teltow-Fläming district) had to initiate emergency braking because several people were on the track due to a physical altercation.

 

At around 7:20 p.m., a 20-year-old is said to have asked a 16-year-old to hand over cigarettes and a mobile phone. When the young person then informed a family member, he went to the train station and is said to have attacked the 20-year-old and his two 20- and 17-year-old companions with a warning triangle. The ICE train driver noticed the people on the track and initiated emergency braking. The train came to a standstill about 50 meters behind the people. Rescue workers took the injured 36-year-old to a hospital for medical treatment.”
