As I said yesterday, the Trump administration’s numbers had NO relation to any measurement of tariff rates. Now specialists in international trade have worked out where they came from — and you won’t believe it!
Democrats have their Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) garbage and now GOP has its own MMT — Maga Mythical Tariffs where the rates they say other countries are charging are utter and complete nonsense. Even more nonsensical is where the idea came from…
