Germany: Eleven-year-old raped: three Bulgarians in custody

ULM / GÖPPINGEN. The Göppingen criminal police have started investigations against three Bulgarians on suspicion of rape of an eleven-year-old. As the public prosecutor and police in Ulm and Göppingen announced on Monday afternoon, the 18 and 19 year old men are said to have lured the girl into an apartment on Thursday afternoon and then raped her.

Then the eleven-year-old fled and turned to a passing police patrol. According to the police, the 19-year-old suspect was arrested a short time later near the apartment, while the two 18-year-olds were still in it. The men were brought before a judge on Friday and have been in custody ever since.

Meanwhile, the Munich Regional Court sentenced an Eritrean man to seven years in prison for a particularly serious rape. The asylum seeker, who immigrated to Germany in 2016, invited a 26-year-old woman in Bad Tölz to his apartment in August 2020, where he abused and raped her for four hours.
