Germany: 17-year old girl found dead - Syrian refugee is arrested
According to information from Monday, the police and prosecutors are assuming a violent crime.
A 35-year-old Syrian was arrested on suspicion of a homicide.
According to previous information, the teenager had left the apartment in Asperg on Tuesday afternoon last week and had not returned to her parents in the evening. The police searched for the 17-year-old with a helicopter, drones and sniffer dogs. Investigators did not say where her body was found on Sunday afternoon.
The police set up a special "mountain" commission. They hope to find out more about the course of events through an autopsy, which should take place on Monday. They are also asking witnesses for information. In this context, the investigators published the photo of an older gray-brown BMW 320 with a Ludwigsburg license plate, "which may have been occupied by the missing person and a man".
