New dispute about climate and woke activists in Germany

In view of the recent incident at Berlin's Humboldt University (HU), the CSU accuses the woke movement and climate activists of "re-education terror".

Berlin - In an interview for Bild newspaper (Monday edition) the CSU member of the Bundestag Florian Hahn said: "Anyone who publicly admits to consume grilled meat or says that there are only two sexes in biology will be pilloried. This re-education terror does not suit a free country. The events at the Humboldt University are alarming."

On Saturday, a scientist's lecture on the biology of the sexes was canceled at HU after massive protests. The chairman of the CSU state group in the Bundestag, Alexander Dobrindt, criticized that sharply: "It is frightening how scientific exchange of opinions can now be suppressed by radical activists at German universities. That even in the scientific field, under the pretext of tolerance, intolerance towards other opinions is spreading, must be a serious concern."
