Citizens in Bavaria should provide housing for asylum seekers

Kulmbach - In the Bavarian district of Kulmbach, apartments for asylum seekers are becoming scarce. Against this background, the Kulmbach district office has now appealed to citizens in the region. According to a report by the local broadcaster Radio Plassenburg, anyone who can provide living space, for example an apartment or a house, should contact the responsible authorities.

It would be ideal if the apartments were furnished and ready to move into. However, this is “not a must”, emphasized the office.

The asylum seekers are currently housed in an anchor center in neighboring Bamberg and are waiting there for a decision on their asylum application. However, these must also be housed in different districts by then, including in Kulmbacher Land. Hence the official call to the citizens to provide living space.
