New propaganda series about refugees on ZDF

A new series for the German propaganda is now available. A sailing trip in the Mediterranean, an overcrowded refugee boat and a fateful catastrophe that changes everything - the German mini-series "Liberame" ("free me", in Spanish) is dedicated to the question of responsibility and guilt in times of refugee crises. Of course! Who could be the sole owners of guilt and responsibility? The premiere took place at the film festival in Munich. ZDF is now showing "Liberame" on free TV and in the media library.

A rich couple, Jan and his wife Caro are sailing through the Mediterranean Sea with family and friends on their sailing ship when they encounter a boat that is unable to manoeuvre, with refugees in distress at sea. Among them is the Syrian family of Ismail and his wife Zahra. The Germans' yacht is their only chance of rescue. The vacationers around Jan and Caro decide to help the desperate people and tow the boat away. But the next morning it was gone without a trace. The towline broke.
