This is how much Germany spends on foreign Hartz IV recipients

Berlin - Since 2010, Germany has transferred around 117 billion euros to foreign Hartz IV recipients. According to the Federal Government's response to a request from AfD member of the Bundestag René Springer, which was submitted to Junge Freiheit, their proportion of beneficiaries rose from 20 to almost 40 percent between 2010 and 2021.

Accordingly, the annual Hartz IV expenditure for non-Germans rose from around 6.9 billion euros in 2010 to more than 13.2 billion euros last year - a record value. Around 45 percent of this went to people from the eight largest main asylum countries. The figures show that in December 2021, a majority of 52 percent of the newly added Hartz IV recipients no longer had German citizenship.

For the AfD MP Springer, the numbers are “proof of a failed migration and integration policy”. The federal government has "lost control over immigration into the social systems and the resulting financial burdens," criticized the politician to the JF. Immigration into the social systems must be stopped. "Everything else divides society," warned the member of the Bundestag.
