Burned babies and corpses beheaded with shovels: Reports from screening of Hamas body cam footage from Israeli massacre

The Israeli government hosted foreign press on Monday for a screening of unedited footage from the recovered body cams of Hamas terrorists who slaughtered over 1,300 Israeli civilians on Oct. 7.

 

Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy confirmed that the screening was necessary to prove the extent of the massacre which he claimed was being disputed by some within the mainstream media.

 

“We are witnessing a Holocaust-like phenomenon unfolding in real-time as people are casting doubt on the magnitude of the atrocities that Hamas committed against our people,” he told journalists on Sunday.

 

 

The raw footage, screened for around 200 accredited journalists associated with global publications, reportedly showed Hamas terrorists attempting to behead Israeli corpses with a shovel, jihadists throwing hand grenades into shelters occupied by cowering civilians, and photos of dead babies and children burned beyond recognition.

 

Jotam Confino, the foreign editor of Jewish News who attended the screening, reported on his experience. He revealed how he had seen footage of “scores of dead people on the road after Hamas executed them in their cars” as they yelled “Allahu Akhbar,” and described footage of a Hamas terrorist boasting to his parents about the mass murder of civilians.

 

“I killed 10 Jews with my own hands, I’m using the dead Jewish woman’s phone to call you now,” the Hamas terrorist reportedly told them.

 

“Hamas terrorists enter a house, where a small girl is seen hiding under the table. After some talking back and forth they shoot and kill her as she hides under the table. Hard to say how old she is but looks like 7-9 years old,” he added.

 

 

 

David Patrikarakos, the foreign correspondent for the UnHerd news outlet, described a scene involving “a man in his underpants and his two children, also in underpants run screaming. Hamas enter, they throw a grenade and kill the father.”

 

“The footage moves to a rave. Partygoers run screaming. Men and women are dragged screaming out of cars. Bloodied corpses are thrown into the dirt and surrounded by Hamas cheering and whooping. A terrified, handcuffed female hostage is dragged out of a truck amid a cheering crowds.“

Patrikarakos also confirmed the images of “burned babies — so small you could cradle them in the crook of your arm” who were wrapped in blankets typically given to newborns.

 

 

“These are Daesh tactics — straight up,” he added.

 

Some footage, approved for publication by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), showed Israeli civilians being gunned down indiscriminately as they sought to flee the attack in their vehicles.

 

 

“Those Hamas videos were worse than I can describe,” one reporter friend told Newsmax columnist Bryan Leib.

 

Despite the footage, the BBC — which has been heavily criticized by Israel for refusing to refer to Hamas as a terrorist organization despite it being proscribed as such in the U.K., the U.S., and the European Union — continued to describe Hamas terrorists as “militants” and “gunmen” in its report of the screening.

 

Major General Michael Edelstein, a former IDF Gaza division commander, told the assembly of journalists that he had been “shocked” by the footage after the screening.

 

“We see that some of the channels are trying to compare what Israel is doing and what those vile terrorists are doing,” General Edelstein told the press.

 

“I cannot understand anyone who compares, and after what we have shared with you, you should know it,” he added.
