ZDF poll sees AfD triumph in Brandenburg
Berlin - The research group Wahlen predicts a big victory for the AfD nine days before the election in Brandenburg. According to the survey commissioned by ZDF, it would reach 29 percent, while the SPD, which has provided the state premier since 1990, would only reach 26 percent.
The CDU follows at a great distance, with only 15 percent of Brandenburgers wanting to vote for it and could apparently fight for third place with the BSW (14 percent). The Greens, on the other hand, have to worry about being re-elected to the state parliament with five percent. According to the research group Wahlen, the Left and BVB/Free Voters (three percent each) will miss this by a long way.
ARD with different results than ZDF survey
The results differ considerably from those presented shortly before by Infratest Dimap on behalf of RBB. The SPD also received 26 percent there, but was neck and neck with the AfD (27 percent). The Greens would therefore fail just as much as BVB/Free Voters (both 4.5 percent).
The CDU is at 16 percent and the BSW at 13 percent. Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke has repeatedly announced that he will resign from office if the AfD receives more votes than the SPD. However, it is completely unclear who will then become head of government.
