Trump promised that tariffs would bring back factories and jobs to America. But years later, the reality is shocking: zero new manufacturing has returned, businesses are shutting down, and everyday Americans are paying higher prices.
From an outsider’s perspective, it looks like the U.S. shot itself in the foot—factories moved abroad, companies closed, and the economy is feeling the pain. Meanwhile, other countries are actually benefitting from America’s trade war!
