Earlier this year, the US President imposed tariffs on over 180 countries and territories shocking the world. 

 

Sir Niall Ferguson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and senior faculty fellow at Harvard, says there is no end in sight to the trade war.

 

He told Four Corners reporter Steve Cannane why Trump's tariffs won't work and what he sees as the dangers of the trade war escalating into a real war. Note:
