 But we finally fought back. While Trump was busy insulting us, Canada nationalised the Trans Mountain Pipeline, spent $25 billion punching through the Rockies, and in 2024 opened the escape hatch to the Pacific. Our oil is now sailing directly to Asia, ending America’s grip.

Meanwhile, as U.S. states dry up, Canada sits on 20% of the world’s fresh water plus the third-largest oil reserves on Earth.

We’re done saying sorry. The polite neighbour just became a real superpower.  

Canada quietly became the sleeping superpower the Americans don’t want you to notice. We sit on 20% of the planet’s fresh water while their states are drying up and begging for it. Every single Canadian theoretically owns 80,000 cubic metres of it. We have the third-largest oil reserves on Earth, 71% of the world’s potash, more minerals than you can count, and an economy that didn’t need a taxpayer bailout in 2008 when Wall Street was crying for help.
