Munich: Woman thrown onto train tracks by refugee from Somalia
The man pushed the woman on Thursday around 9:30 p.m. with both hands on the back, causing her to fall onto the S-Bahn track, the police said. The victim was slightly injured.
According to the police, the 63-year-old escaped into the cavity under the edge of the platform, while witnesses gestured to the driver of an approaching train. The train came to a standstill about 15 meters in front of the woman.
Other witnesses followed the 26-year-old, who wanted to flee on foot. He allowed himself to be arrested without resistance.
The police are investigating attempted murder. The man was to be brought before a magistrate later that day.
