Youth organization of the SPD: Hitler assassination is "no decent anti-fascism"

Berlin - With a statement on Facebook, the "Jusos in the SPD" denounced the assassination attempt on Hitler on July 20, 1944. The unsuccessful attack, as a result of which Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg and numerous co-conspirators were executed, "is not decent anti-fascism for us," according to the youth organization of the Chancellor's Party SPD.

The Jusos write: "Respectable anti-fascism is when our comrades (especially in rural areas and parts of the 'East') oppose right-wing and conspiracy ideological marches every Monday in all weathers."

The youth organization of the SPD takes a critical view of July 20, “this day of remembrance, on which he is also celebrated as a hero”. According to the Jusos, Stauffenberg acted "not out of anti-fascist values, but probably because he wanted to save Germany from defeat in World War II".

Jusos: Stauffenberg part of the "Nazi gang"
And then comes the final verdict: "Stauffenberg was a nationalist, anti-democrat and anti-Semite, like the rest of the Nazi gang." According to this, Stauffenberg was no better than Hitler.

The Young Socialists combine the denigration of Stauffenberg with an appeal: “Anyone who is decent goes to the Antifa. Jusos support their local Antifa not only on memorial days.” Antifa is known for using threats and violence to break up events that do not correspond to their left-wing extremist worldview. She threatens and beats up dissenters.
