20 criminals from Afghanistan known to the police came to Germany as refugees

With the evacuation flights from Afghanistan, 20 people who are known to the security authorities also entered Germany.

According to Federal Interior Minister Seehofer, among the offenders are convicted rapists. The CSU politician in Munich said that there was an emergency situation in Kabul and that something like that is always being exploited by criminals. Four of those who were flown out were deported from Germany years ago. According to information from the German Press Agency, several people whose names had already appeared in the joint federal and state counter-terrorism center are said to have entered the country. According to the Interior Ministry, two of the newcomers were brought to the correctional facility on the basis of open arrest warrants, while others are still in the care of the authorities.

According to the ministry, the airlift brought a total of 4,587 people to the Federal Republic, including 3,849 Afghans.
