Police check Islamist motive
The investigators emphasized that it was still unclear whether the act of violence was an Islamist attack. There is currently no evidence that the suspect, who was armed with a bow and arrow, among other things, had accomplices.

Early on Wednesday evening, the 37-year-old had started shooting arrows at people in a supermarket in the city of Kongsberg, in southeast of the capital Oslo. According to the police, the fatalities are four women and one man. The victims are between the ages of 50 and 70.
